Metrolist re-tools website to create, drive more leads to brokers
Consumer-facing website ties directly to agent e-mail addresses
Metrolist has re-launched its public website - www.recolorado.com - with an aim toward better connecting interested home buyers and sellers with REALTORS®.
The enhanced site will leverage listing data to provide the most localized and up-to-date content available to the public, including open house information, the first source of its kind in Colorado.
Metrolist upgraded its website to include easier searching tools for consumers that will benefit brokers. With the launch of the new website, a buyer or seller can easily:
• Find open houses and create turn-by-turn directions
• Search for properties
• Set up and receive property alerts
• Find an agent or office
• Access a home valuation tool from Bank of America called "What's my Home Worth?"
• Download a free mobile app or use a browser version optimized for mobile devices
• Conduct city-specific searches with market stats and demographic detail
The new site boasts many attractive features for consumers, including an aerial-view map search with rooftop accuracy and parcel line overlays, custom searches tailored to regional and market specifics, and enhanced listing information including school and neighborhood data.
What's on it for REALTORS®?
Designed to be a forum for REALTORS® to put their best face forward, the public website includes broker photos and contact information on each listing, and allows consumers to easily search for an agent or office. All leads go directly to an agent's e-mail address. Convenient "Contact Me" forms allow consumers to quickly request additional information.
Agents looking to "get found" by home buyers can make sure their contact information and photo are current and accurate in Metrolist's PrimeAccess by simply uploading a recent photo, verifying that their broker profile is up to date, and ensuring that all contact information is complete.
"As trustworthy local professionals, agents need to make sure that consumers can easily find them," says Metrolist's interim COO Kirby Slunaker. "In a market where consumers are spending more time searching for properties and agents online, Metrolist has built a site that will assure any agent they'll have an important presence."
