AAR President Kim Enomoto closed out her year by honoring committee volunteers, leadership, staff members and other contributors at the Inaugural Celebration Oct. 6.
The Distinguished Service Award is the highest honor an AAR President can give; it’s the chance to honor those she believes have shown exemplary dedication to the Association, its members and its causes. Enomoto presented this prestigious award to the Stanton Team, which she said gave extraordinary service to the Association during the past year.
“This team has been committed to keeping our membership informed and aware of all governmental issues,” Enomoto said. “This included options and implications for Board consideration regarding public policy, legislative or regulatory effects to REALTORS®, real estate and our clients.”
John Stanton served in 2006 as the CAR State Legislative Policy Committee Representative, and has also been the Metro Denver Governmental Policy Committee Chair and AAR’s Governmental Affairs Committee Chair for the past two years.
Felicia Stanton offered her service by chairing the Political Survival Fund committee. “Every year, the PSF chairperson receives the task of finding creative and entertaining ways to part us from our money….for a good cause of course,” Enomoto said.
