 AAR's members have always been hot...but now they're cooking!
As part of their annual fundraising efforts, the Association's Affiliates are creating a cookbook, and you can submit your favorite recipe!
Just submit your recipe using the instructions below to enter your recipe in the "Look Who's Cooking Now" cookbook. Or get a recipe submission flyer from your favorite Affiliate member.
A culinary closing gift
Your name and recipe will appear in the cookbook when it's published (July or August). There will also be a space for your marketing piece or business card, making this the perfect gift for clients, friends and family. Pam Giarratano, Metro Denver Title, chairs this ambitious project.
Recipes must be submitted no later than May 13, 2005. Members may submit up to five recipes. And to add to the fun, on Aug. 12 the Affiliate Committee will host an AAR Cook-Off, so get ready to strut your stuff and impress your peers with your culinary talents! More information on the Cook-Off will be forthcoming as the event nears.
Cooking for a cause
A portion of the proceeds of the cookbook and the Cook-Off will go to the Excelsior School for Girls, an Aurora-based charity. Girls in the program typically come from an abusive situation and may have been in many foster homes. The school has an 82 percent success rate for integrating the girls back into loving homes or graduating from high school and going on to be productive members of society.
The girls at the school will be involved in an art contest for the front cover and section dividers of the cookbook, making it an especially meaningful project. Beau LaPoint, Commonwealth Title, and Aaron Tucker, American Advantage Real Estate Services, are providing prizes for the winners of the art contest.

To make it easier for members to submit recipes, we have set up an account with the company doing the cookbook. Here's how to do it.
To input a recipe:
1. Go to: www.typensave.com
2. Click on Login.
3. Contributer Name: Type name as you want it listed with the recipe
Group Login: aarcookbook
Password: 02298 (this is the password that all contributors must use)
4. At the top of the page click on either Add Recipe or View All Recipes to see what has already been submitted.
