 No more paper ballots—AAR director voting goes online
The Aurora Association of REALTORS® (AAR) will conduct its election of AAR and CAR directors via online voting during the latter part of June and early July.
Polls will close on Fri, July 6, at 5 p.m. and members will be notified of the results on Mon., July 9. This method will replace the packets of information and paper ballots that have previously been mailed to each firm.
To ensure that you have the opportunity to cast your ballot, AAR must have a current e-mail address on file. If you are currently receiving e-mails from the Asociation, we have a valid e-mail address. If you are not receiving e-mails from the Asociation, please contact Hilda at Hilda@aaor.org to provide your current e-mail address.
In addition to a current e-mail address, voters need to provide their name, National REALTOR® Database System (NRDS) number and a PIN number that will be randomly generated and e-mailed to you. Your NRDS number will be included on a membership card that will be mailed from NAR in May or you can contact Cheryl at AAR to obtain that number.
Complete voting instructions and an e-mail ballot notice will be e-mailed to each member in June. The e-mail will have a link to a URL for voting. Provisions will be made to accommodate members who do not have electronic capabilities as a part of their business.
Director candidate profiles will be published in the June issue of the Aurora Outlook and on AAR’s website prior to the election. |
