CREC releases 2008 Version 2 Update Course
The Colorado Real Estate Commission (CREC) recently released Version 2 of the 2008 Annual Commission Update Course. The course became available on Aug. 1, 2008. Licensed agents may use the 2008 Version One and the 2008 Version Two courses as two separate courses for license renewal requirements. It is anticipated that the 2009 course will be available sometime in January 2009.
Pursuant to the recent legislative changes, licensees are now required to complete 12 hours of mandatory 4-hour Annual Commission Update coursework during a three-year renewal cycle prior to applying to renew an active license, activate an inactive license or reinstate an expired license to active status. Licensees who are in a two-year plus partial number of months renewal cycle are required to have eight hours of annual commission update coursework prior to renewing their license. All licensees must be prepared to show completion of 24 hours of C.E. credit prior to applying to renew their license.
