AAR’s Annual Texas Hold ’Em Tourney and Cook Off draws fun-loving crowd
The Association’s Texas Hold ‘Em Tournament has turned into a great tradition, with novice and experienced players again filling professional-style tables March 6.
More than 50 players sat down to test their card skills at the event, which is hosted by AAR’s energetic Affiliate Committee. The group will use proceeds from the fundraiser to put on this summer’s REALTOR® Appreciation Day.
Also part of the event was a great Chili and Dessert Cook Off. Attendees voted for their favorite recipes from among more than 20 entries, helping themselves to time-tested chili recipes and decadent after-dinner treats.
Once again, Affiliate volunteers dedicated hours of time and effort into planning a successful, worthwhile event for the membership.
