Candidate Profiles
The Aurora Association of REALTORS® (AAR) conducts its election of AAR and CAR directors via online voting during the latter part of June and early July. Polls close on Fri., July 13 at 5 p.m. and members will be notified of the results Mon., July 16.
AAR members will elect three AAR directors for three-year terms which run from Oct. 1, 2012 – Sept. 30, 2015. A fourth AAR director will be elected for a one-year term.
AAR's Nominating Committee will accept nominations for candidates through May 18. Nominees will present their views at the REALTOR® Update Meeting June 15; all AAR members are invited to hear them speak.
Your vote is your voice
To ensure that you have the opportunity to cast your ballot, AAR must have your current e-mail address on file. If you currently receive e-mails from the Association, AAR already has a valid e-mail address for you. If you do not receive e-mails from the Association, please contact Cheryl at Cheryl@aaor.org to provide your current e-mail address.
In addition to a current e-mail address, voters must provide their name, National Association of REALTORS® Database System (NRDS) number and a PIN number that will be randomly generated and e-mailed to you.
Complete voting instructions and an e-mail ballot notice will be e-mailed to each member June 18. The e-mail will have a link to a URL for voting. Provisions will be made to accommodate members who do not have electronic capabilities as a part of their business.
